The Companion Bible

There can be no question but that the Gospel glows in these heavenly constellations with all the luster of the stars themselves. God has been, all through the ages, proclaiming from the starry sky the glories, sufferings, triumphs of the Virgin's Child. Can we close our eyes to the testament of the Stars? To do so, is to go against the laws of evidence. Can there be any doubt but that the Zodiac is a primeval fountain of Divine Truth? If there is, it is against the principles of logic.

The Zodiac is primeval "Bible Astrology" (symbology of astronomy); the earliest revelation to mankind from his Creator. Satan perverted God's Astrology, substituting in its place a mythological system designed to control the entire world through fortune-telling, sorcery and witchcraft. "Horoscopic Astrology"-speaks of mysterious influences which emanate from "the houses of heavens" (which related to the Signs of the Zodiac), affecting earthly creatures either favorable or adversely, depending upon how man relates himself to those strange forces. "Biblical Astrology", on the contrary has nothing at all to say about forces influencing your destiny. It is simply the telling of the Gospel of Jesus Christ throught the names which God gave the stars. "Biblical Astrology" proclaims the story of the One, whose self-given Name is the "Light of the World", who dwelt in the midst of the twelve tribes of Israel that they might "behold His Glory".

Knowledge of this Light leads men into the "paths of righteousness"-Lest ye corrupt yourselves...and lest thou lift up thine eyes unto heaven, and when thou seest the sun, and the moon, and the stars, even all the host of heaven, shouldest be driven to worship them, and serve them, which the Lord Thy God hath divided to all nations under the whole heaven (DEUT. 4:16, 19).

As we read the names of the stars, beginning with Virgo, the Virgin, and learn of "the Seed" and "the Branch", and compare Scripture with Scripture where these names are found, we find the signs of the Zodiac (Mazzaroth) with their related constellations and individual stars preach the Gospel of Christ. These are the "holy prophets" spoken of by Zacharias: "Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people. And hath raised up and horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; As he spake by the mouth of his Holy prophets, which have been Since the world began" (LUKE 1:68-70). Only the star-messangers of God, created and named in the day that God made the heavens and the earth, the constellations of the Zodiac, fit that description.

The word Zodiac itself is from a primitive root through the Hebrew Sodi which in Sanscrit means "the way" or "the path"

Ps 19:1-6

1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
(KJV)
1. declare=rehearse or recount
firmament=expanse
sheweth=setting forth
2. Day unto day=day after day
uttereth=constantly pouring forth-to tell forth or prophesy.
speech-speaking
unto=after
knowledge=intelligence, information
4. tabernacle=tent or house. Hence the signs of the Zodiac are called the "houses" of the sun because in them he moves and dwells and completes his circuit.

Gen 1:14-15
14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:
15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so.
(KJV)
All the ancient cultures have the same twelve major constellations, each with three decans or subconstellations.
Job 38:31-32
31 Canst thou bind the sweet influences of Pleiades, or loose the bands of Orion?
32 Canst thou bring forth Mazzaroth in his season? or canst thou guide Arcturus with his sons?
(KJV)
This is a clear reference to the constellations of Orion and Pleiades and the star Arcturus. Mazzaroth is a Hebrew word which means "the constellations of the Zodiac". Also in the book of Job there is a reference to Cetus, the Sea Monster, and to Draco, The Great Dragon. Here in the oldest book of the Bible, written centuries before the Greek and Roman pagan cultures, we find that the constellations of the Zodiac were already clearly known and understood.
The chart of the Zodiac shows twelve major signs around the ecliptic, which was the apparent path that the sun traveled through the heavens. this path was determined by the earth’s rotation, and its tilt away from or towards the sun. the ecliptic is divided into twelve houses or tabernacles, each of which is 30 degrees of the 360 degree circle the sun travels.
In addition to the twelve major signs, each sign has three decans, which is a word which comes from the ancient Shemetic root dek which means a "piece" or "to break in pieces". So in addition to the twelve major signs, there are 36 decans. Another way of seeing the Mazzaroth (the constellations of the Zodiac) is having twelve major themes, each with three minor themes, as there are twelve tribes, and twelve apostles, so there are twelve chapters in the heavenly story. The twelve chapters are divided into three major themes or sections, each comprising four figures of the Zodiac.

Our Father went to a great deal of trouble to point out the heavens to us. Even the tribes carried the signs of heavens with them wherever they went.
We learn from the early writings of the Persians and the Chinese that there were four bright stars in the sky that protected and watched over the others. These stars were said to be in the east, the west, the north and the south. These positions evidently corresponded to the Vernal Equinox, the Autumnal Equinox, the Windter Solstice and the Summer Solstice-the four cardinal points of the sky. If we look in the vicinity of these points we can find no stars of any considerable brightness and we might be inclined to doubt the accuracy of this ancient literature or to wonder whether the four bright stars have faded considerably during the intervening years. However, when we consider the westward precession of the equinoxes, the four cardinal points would not have the same location with reference to the stars as they had ages ago, for the constellations of the Zodiac are continually slipping in an easterly direction with reference to the Vernal Equinox. We must study the Zodiac as the Persians saw it.
If we turn the Zodiac back (westward) through sixty degrees we find four bright stars, Alerbaran, Antares, Regulus, and Fomalhaut, almost exactly in the places assigned to them by the Persians. Since the Zodiac has slipped through sixty degrees in about 5000 years we can tell approximately when the observations of these ancient peoples were made. It is interesting to note that the four bright stars that the Persians and the Chinese said were in the four cardinal points of the Zodiac, are in the constellations of Taurus (The Bull), Scorpio (called by Abraham-the Eagle), Leo (the Lion), and Aquarius (The man pouring water out of a vessel), respectively. These correspond perfectly with the four faces of the "cherubim" in the Book of Ezekiel and were the emblems of the four "brigades" (Judah, Ephraim, Reuben and Dan) of Israel in the four-square Wilderness Camp.

Ezek 1:10
10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle. (KJV)
SIGNS IN THE HEAVENS
Matt 24:3
3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

Matt 24:42-44
42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
Since Our Father gave us the heavens for signs and illumination and He told us to watch, I believe it is important to take note of what is happening in the heavens
Ps 19:1
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
(KJV)
God set the planets (including the earth) the moon, comets, and other heavenly bodies in motion at the creation. The planets, the sun, the moon, as well as the constellations, are for signs and for seasons (Genesis 1:14), and for the declaring or announcing of the glory of God (Psalms 19:1). The constellations remain the same for tens of thousands of years. In discerning times, they are analogous to the hour markings on a clock. There are 12 hours marked on a clock, and there are 12 signs in the Zodiac. In discerning times, the sun, the moon, the planets, and comets are analogous to the hour, minute, and second hands of a clock. It is their movement through the constellations which portray times and signs for certain events.

Our Father uses symbology to represent a truth such as pottery=man and The Potter=God
Let us propose the following symbology:
Jupiter=in mythology Jupiter is known as the father of gods and the ruler over everything. The Hebrew word for Jupiter is SSedes which means righteousness. Jupiter represents The God of righteousness or the Righteous God.
Saturn=is associated with darkness, death and destruction in Jewish tradition. Saturn is identified as the god responsible for agriculture and harvest. In astrological lore, Saturn is an evil star signifying death and darkness. Saturn is associated with Satan.

Venus=is known as the morning star in astronomy.
Rev 22:16
16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star. (KJV)

So Venus represents Jesus.
Mars=The god of war in mythology. It is Michael the archangel who fights for God’s people. Michael is known as the warrior angel. Mars is associated with Michael.

Mercury=Mythology associated with the message-bearer. Gabriel is known as the mesanger angel. Mercury is associated with Gabriel.

Sun=Our Father
There are many rare to very rare celestial events occurring between the Spring of 1996, to the fall of 2004. A person would normally have to live over 4000 years to see all of these

events. Here, they are occurring over an eight and one-half year period. Furthermore, these events are occurring in constellations relevant to the prophecies given in the Bible pertaining to the end-times, and many are occurring on God’s feast days

Robert Wadsworth using the "Dance of the Planets" computer software program to chart the paths of the planets through the constellations could "fast forward" to events yet to come or "fast rewind" to events in the past. Here are excerpts from his book

"A Voice Crying in the Heavens" which I found to be a fascinating study and opened up many scriptures that were otherwise closed to me.

before the dragon is cast down there is war in heaven between micahel and his angels, and the dragon and his angels
Rev 12:7
7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, (KJV) though there has been much conflict throughout the ages between michael and the devil, this is the final one to take place in heaven. How long this particular conflict lasts, I do not know, though celestial events which occurred in November, 1995 may have portrayed its beginning.

1995
January 1, 1995-November 2, 1995 Jupiter (God) performed a triple conjunction (two celestial bodies within the same celestial longitude) with Antares (the wounding) in Scorpius (the Hebrew name of the constellation scorpius is akrab, which also means the conflict or war). Mars (Michael) was in conjunction with Antares on November 2, 1995 (another meaning for the name Antares is "rival of Ares" with Ares being the Roman name for the war god Mars.

1996
On March 23, 1996 there was a massing of the planets Mars (Michael), Mercury (Gabriel), and Saturn (Satan) in the sign of Pisces (the Redeemed). Then along came the unanticipated "great comet of 96" Hyakutake. The timing of the spectacular appearance of this comet is incredible. It’s closest approach to earth was on March 24/25, 1996. The path of the comet passed through LIBRA (the altar, or the price which covers); BOOTES (He cometh); URSA MAJOR (the fold and the flock or the great sheepfold); URSA MINOR (the lesser sheepfold); CASSIOPEIA (the captive delivered); and PERSEUS (‘The breaker" delivering the redeemed).

the one who paid the price which covers; he cometh for his sheepfold; to deliver the captive; and to deliver the redeemed.

To top this off, there was a total eclipse of the moon on Passover April 3/4. This was no ordinary eclipse. It appeared blood red over Jerusalem. As seen from Jerusalem the moon started to go into total eclipse about midnight, or about 6 hours after sunset Nisan 15.

Exod 11:4-5
4 And Moses said, Thus saith the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:
5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sitteth upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

(KJV)
This was the final plague that convinced the Pharaoh to let Israel (the captive) leave the land of Egypt. The captive was delivered from their oppressor.

On April 11, 1996 Hyakutake was very close to the star Algol in the head of Medusa. Other names for this head are "Rosh Satan" (Hebrew), "the head of the adversary". Perseus is holding this head in his left hand. A foreshadowing of this is seen when David slew and took the head of Goliath.

one year later to the day, hale-bopp was very near to and in conjunction with Algol (would have made a cross right in the forehead of the Medusa).

To see a bright comet along with a total lunar eclipse, especially a blood red moon, on the Passover is very rare. Ihave not yet found were this has happened before in anyone year. This event happened in two consecutive Passovers (1996, 1997) with different comets.

The celestial events of late March and early April portray the Messiah and the Great Shepherd coming to deliver his sheepfold, and destroying the works and binding force of the devil. This may be a portrayal and revealtion that these events ARE TO SHORTLY COME TO PASS (my idea to emphasize)

Rev 12:1
1 And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

(KJV)
On October 12, 1996 there was a partial eclipse of the sun seen from Israel. The moon covered about 20 percent of the sun as seen in Israel. The sun and the moon were in the sign Virgo (the woman) during the eclipse. On October 13, 1996 "the woman" was clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet.

1997
The comet Hale-Bopp is a very large comet. Its nucleus is estimated to be about 26 miles in diameter. According to NASA the comet has an orbital period of approximately 4, 210 years. The last time that it was in this area of the solar system, was in the days of Noah (I know that PM said when the children left Egypt-but the time period was off-and this makes sense-I checked the Companion Bible and the time period would be about right). The comet spends most of its time in Pavo. Though the constellation Pavo is not part of the forty-eight constellations of the Zodiac, it has some interesting history behind it. This constellation is now known as the Peacock. The following is a quote from Star Names, Their lore and Meaning, Richard Hinkley Allen

"this bird was still further astronomical in originally having been Argos, the builder of the ship Argo, who was changed by Juno to a peacock when his vessel was transferred to the sky".

From looking through the fables, it is quite probable that the constellation Pavo, in ancient times, represented Noah.

From May 1997 to late August, 1997, the comet Hale-Bopp isnot visible to those who live in the northern hemisphere of the earth. The comet will again be visible in the northern hemisphere from late August through late October 1997 (by telescope or binoculars). Though Hale-Bopp will not be very bright at that time, it will be in an interesting position in the heavens. It will be in the constellation ARGO (Noah’s Ark) from mid August to late December. Argo (Noah’s Ark) represents a place of refuge for God’s people in a time of great trouble on earth.

Matt 24:37
37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (KJV)

(My addition-I find this so interesting that the signs in the heavens would portray this-though this has spiritual meaning as well)

And here is another interesting piece of information. The following quote from Bill Cloud, Voice of Evangelism Ministries:

"this upcoming Jewish year 5758 is spelled tav, shin, nun, chet. Nun, chet spells the name "noah". The year forms an acrostic for the "season of Noah." The year 5758 will begin this September according to the Hebrew calendar.

Luke 21:25-28
25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
